Product Specific Information

The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).

Target Information

NKAT (NK-associated transcripts) gene products, known as killer immunoglobulin-like receptors (KIRs), downregulate NK cell cytotoxicity upon recognition of specific class I MHC molecules.
KIR family receptors are characterized by extracellular immunoglobulin-superfamily domains and a cytoplasmic domain containing an antigen receptor activation motif (ARAM).
KIR2DL3 (CD158b) is an inhibitory receptor specific for the human MHC class I molecule HLA-Cw3 and related alleles.
