For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional round of desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

ANG-2 binds to the endothelial cell-specific receptor Tie-2 but, unlike ANG-1, does not induce tyrosine phosphorylation. ANG-2 modulates ANG-1 activation of Tie-2 and can act as either an agonist or antagonist of Tie-2-induced angiogenesis depending on the environment.
ANG-1, ANG-2, Tie-2, and related ANG-3/ANG-4 interactions are essential for embryonic and adult angiogenesis. Physiologically, ANG-1 and ANG-2 are associated with sprouting, tube formation, and structural integrity of new blood vessels.
Mature human ANG-2 is a secreted protein with 480 amino acids, composed of an alpha-helix-rich coiled coil N-terminal domain and a fibrinogen-like C-terminal domain, predominantly forming disulfide-linked dimers.
