Product Specific Information
- Intact IgG appears on a non-reducing gel as a ~150 kDa band and upon reduction generates a ~25 kDa light chain band and a ~50 kDa heavy chain.
- Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits.
- Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.
Advantages:
- High specificity and sensitivity
- Lot-to-lot consistency
- Animal origin-free formulation
- Broader immunoreactivity due to larger rabbit immune repertoire
Target Information
FRAP1 (mTOR) is a serine/threonine kinase that plays a critical role in cellular growth and proliferation. Perturbations in the mTOR/PI3K/AKT pathway are associated with various cancers. FRAP1 is also the target of rapamycin and its analogues, used as immunosuppressants and cancer therapeutics. Mutations in this gene result in Smith-Kingsmore syndrome.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
