Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The p130Cas (Cas for Crk-associated substrate) is a cellular target of phosphorylation signals via v-Crk and v-Src oncoproteins. It contains a Src homology (SH)-3 domain followed by multiple YXXP motifs and a proline-rich region.
p130Cas is involved in biological processes such as cell adhesion, migration, growth factor stimulation, cytokine receptor engagement, and bacterial infection.
Physiological roles include cardiovascular development, actin filament assembly, and Src-induced cell transformation.
