Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The p130Cas (Crk-associated substrate) is a common target of phosphorylation signals mediated by v-Crk and v-Src oncoproteins.
It contains an SH3 domain followed by multiple YXXP motifs and a proline-rich region.
p130Cas is involved in various biological processes such as:

  • Cell adhesion and migration
  • Growth factor stimulation
  • Cytokine receptor engagement
  • Bacterial infection

Physiological functions include cardiovascular development, actin filament assembly, and Src-induced cell transformation.
