This antibody detects endogenous levels of NuMA only when phosphorylated at Thr2055.

NuMA (nuclear mitotic apparatus) is a long coiled-coil protein that plays a role in both interphase and mitosis.

In interphase: hypothesized to contribute to nucleoskeletal structure and nuclear organization.
During mitosis: associated with spindle microtubule organization and chromosome positioning.
