Target Information
Nuclear factor kB p65 (NF-κB p65), encoded by the RELA gene on chromosome 11, is a member of the Rel family of proteins. It forms part of the NF-κB complex that regulates transcription of immunoglobulin kappa genes in mature B-lymphoid cells. Activation occurs via TNFα-mediated phosphorylation and degradation of IκB, enabling NF-κB translocation and transcriptional activity.
