Target Information
Cyclin D3는 세포 주기 동안 단백질 발현량이 주기적으로 변하는 고도로 보존된 사이클린 계열 단백질에 속합니다.
이 단백질은 CDK4 또는 CDK6과 복합체를 형성하여 G1/S 전이 조절에 관여하며, 종양 억제 단백질 Rb의 인산화에 관련됩니다.
Cyclin D3 관련 CDK4 활성은 자외선 조사 후 G2기에서 유사분열로의 진행에 필요하다고 보고되었습니다.
이 유전자는 여러 전사 변이체를 가지며, 관련 질환으로는 망막모세포종(Retinoblastoma)과 형질세포 백혈병(Plasma Cell Leukemia)이 있습니다.
