Product Specific Information

This antibody is predicted to react with Dog, Bovine, and Pig.

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening of individual clones to select optimal candidates for production.

Advantages:

  • Better specificity and sensitivity
  • Lot-to-lot consistency
  • Animal origin-free formulation
  • Broader immunoreactivity to diverse targets due to larger rabbit immune repertoire

Target Information

JunD is a transcription factor encoded by the JunD gene. Its activity is modulated by phosphorylation in response to cellular stress via the c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK)/Stress-Activated Protein Kinase (SAPK) family. Jun proteins can form dimers with Fos, ATF, and CREB family transcription factors to form the AP-1 complex, which regulates genes involved in growth, proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. JunD also plays an important role in metabolism through modulation of the IGF-1 signaling pathway.
