Target Information
Apolipoprotein H (APOH) is involved in various physiological pathways including lipoprotein metabolism, coagulation, and the production of antiphospholipid autoantibodies. APOH may act as a cofactor for anionic phospholipid binding by antiphospholipid autoantibodies found in sera of patients with lupus and primary antiphospholipid syndrome. It is not required for the reactivity of antiphospholipid autoantibodies associated with infections.
