Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. Purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
Five human RAD51 homologues have been identified: XRCC2, XRCC3, RAD51B, RAD51C, and RAD51D. Each interacts with one or more of the others, forming either one complex or multiple smaller complexes. RAD51D interacts with XRCC2 and RAD51C. RAD51D’s expression pattern and sequence similarity to other RAD51 family members suggest it participates in complexes required for DNA repair and meiotic recombination.
