Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
ID1 is a helix-loop-helix (HLH) protein capable of forming heterodimers with members of the basic HLH family of transcription factors. It lacks DNA binding activity and can inhibit the DNA binding and transcriptional activation of basic HLH proteins with which it interacts. This protein is implicated in cell growth, senescence, and differentiation. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene.
