The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. Purity is >98% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
Eotaxin-3 (also known as CCL26, Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 26) is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family.
Chemokines regulate migration and tissue localization of cells expressing their cognate receptors.
Eotaxin-3 is chemotactic for eosinophils and basophils and binds to CCR3 receptor.
It is expressed in heart, lung, ovary, and IL-4-stimulated endothelial cells.
The gene is located on human chromosome 7.
Eotaxin-3 induces migration of eosinophils and basophils at concentrations about 10-fold higher than eotaxin.
