Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information

ULK1 is a serine/threonine protein kinase essential in the initiation of autophagy, a critical cellular response to nutrient starvation.
The conserved C-terminal domain (CTD) regulates ULK1 localization and function. Knockdown of ULK1 inhibits both general and rapamycin-induced autophagy, indicating its role downstream of mTOR.
ULK1 forms a complex with FIP200 and ATG13, which are required for proper localization and stability of ULK1 during autophagosome formation. ULK1 is phosphorylated by the mTOR pathway in a nutrient-dependent manner.
