For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Podoplanin (PDPN, T1A, gp38, Aggrus) is a mucin-type 1 glycoprotein (40–43 kDa) expressed in various tumors and normal cells, especially lymphatic endothelial and follicular dendritic cells.
It localizes in stromal cells of peripheral lymphoid tissue and thymic epithelial cells and plays a regulatory role in lymphatic endothelium and podocyte morphology.
Podoplanin acts as a ligand for CLEC-2 and its expression correlates with tumor invasiveness and metastatic potential.
It is involved in cell migration, metastasis formation, and tissue invasion, and may be induced via Src activation of Cas.
Recent studies suggest its presence on Th17 cells and a subset of CD4⁺ cells from human PBMCs.
Dysfunction of podoplanin is associated with diseases such as lymphangioma and subglottic neoplasm, and it has been proposed as a marker for lung injury.
