Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The DDOST gene encodes a component of the oligosaccharyltransferase complex, which catalyzes the transfer of high-mannose oligosaccharides to asparagine residues on nascent polypeptides in the rough endoplasmic reticulum.
This protein complex co-purifies with ribosomes and is implicated in the processing of advanced glycation end products (AGEs), which form from non-enzymatic reactions between sugars and proteins or lipids and are associated with aging and hyperglycemia.
