Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
NFKB1 or NFKB2 forms a complex with REL, RELA, or RELB to create the NFKB complex.
This complex is inhibited by I-kappa-B proteins (NFKBIA or NFKBIB), which retain NF-kappa-B in the cytoplasm.
Phosphorylation of serine residues on I-kappa-B proteins by kinases (IKBKA or IKBKB) leads to their ubiquitination and degradation, enabling NF-kappa-B activation.
Activated NF-kappa-B translocates into the nucleus and binds DNA at kappa-B-binding motifs such as 5'-GGGRNNYYCC-3' or 5'-HGGARNYYCC-3'.
For certain genes, activation requires interaction with other transcription factors such as STAT, AP1, and NFAT.
