For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

G-CSF (Granulocyte Colony Stimulating Factor) is a cytokine that stimulates production and function of neutrophils and monocytes.
Human G-CSF is an 18.8 kDa protein with 175 amino acids, produced by activated monocytes, macrophages, endothelial cells, fibroblasts, astrocytes, osteoblasts, and bone marrow cells.
It influences proliferation, differentiation, and activation of hematopoietic cells and is expressed in various carcinoma and leukemia cells.
G-CSF is encoded by two DNA sequences, resulting in high-activity full-size and low-activity shorter isoforms.
It is highly conserved among species and interacts with its receptor on hematopoietic progenitors and granulocytes.
Clinically, G-CSF is used in treatment of neonatal infections, myocardial infarction, neutropenia, sepsis, autoimmune neutropenia, acute myeloid leukemia, Sweet’s syndrome, and AIDS.
It also serves as a marker protein for carcinomas such as bladder cancer and is associated with Kostmann Syndrome.
