Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, approximately 100% cross-reactivity with recombinant rat CCL21/6Ckine and less than 15% cross-reactivity with recombinant human CCL21/6Ckine.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level: <0.10 EU per 1 µg of antibody (LAL method).
Target Information
This gene belongs to the CC cytokine family located on the p-arm of chromosome 9. CC cytokines are secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes, characterized by two adjacent cysteines. The encoded protein inhibits hemopoiesis, stimulates chemotaxis of thymocytes and activated T cells, and is chemotactic in vitro for T cells but not for B cells, macrophages, or neutrophils. It may mediate lymphocyte homing to secondary lymphoid organs and acts as a high-affinity ligand for chemokine receptor 7 (CCR7), expressed on T and B lymphocytes.
