Target Information
Histone H3는 모든 진핵세포의 염색질에 존재하는 DNA 결합 단백질 중 하나입니다. H3는 다른 네 가지 핵심 히스톤 단백질과 함께 DNA에 결합하여 뉴클레오솜 구조를 형성합니다. 히스톤은 전사 조절, DNA 수선, 복제, 염색체 안정성 유지에 중심적인 역할을 합니다.
히스톤 H3의 N-말단 꼬리는 뉴클레오솜 코어 밖으로 돌출되어 있으며, 다양한 번역 후 변형(post-translational modification)을 통해 세포 내 과정에 영향을 미칩니다. 이러한 변형에는 라이신 또는 아르기닌 잔기에 대한 메틸화 및 아세틸화, 세린 또는 트레오닌 잔기의 인산화가 포함됩니다.
