Target Information
CD35 (CR1, Complement Receptor 1)은 세포막에 결합된 단량체성 당단백질로, 보체 시스템의 주요 구성요소인 C3b 및 C4b의 세포 수용체 역할을 합니다.
이 단백질은 활성화된 보체를 포함한 입자와 면역 복합체의 세포 결합을 매개하며, 보체 활성화를 억제하고 C3b 복합체의 결합 및 식작용을 촉진합니다.
CD35는 호중구, 호산구, 단핵구, B세포, 일부 NK세포, 적혈구, 골수성 백혈병 세포, 여포 수지상세포 등에 발현되며, 호염구에서는 음성입니다.
CD35 단백질의 발현 감소 또는 유전자 변이는 담낭암, 막증식성 사구체신염, 전신홍반루푸스, 사르코이드증 등과 연관되어 있습니다.
또한, CD35 유전자의 특정 변이는 Plasmodium falciparum 감염 시 중증 말라리아에 대한 보호 효과를 나타낼 수 있습니다.
CD35의 대립유전자 특이적 스플라이스 변이체가 보고되었으며, 추가적인 분비형 형태도 확인되었으나 완전히 특성화되지는 않았습니다.
