Product Specific Information
Store vial at 4°C prior to restoration. For extended storage, aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles. Centrifuge if not clear after standing at room temperature. Stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
This affinity purified antibody is directed against the HA epitope tag and is useful for detecting its presence in overexpressed proteins in various assays. It recognizes the HA epitope tag (Tyr-Pro-Tyr-Asp-Val-Pro-Asp-Tyr-Ala-Gly) fused to either the amino- or carboxy-termini of targeted proteins in transfected or transformed cells.
Target Information
HA Tag (hemagglutinin tag) is an epitope tag derived from influenza hemagglutinin. It enables localization of gene products, study of protein topology and complexes, identification of associated proteins, and characterization of low-abundance or poorly immunogenic proteins. HA tag antibodies facilitate protein detection and co-immunoprecipitation of tagged proteins.
