V5 epitope tag는 simian virus 5 (SV5)의 P 및 V 단백질에 존재하는 작은 epitope(Pk)에서 유래합니다. 일반적으로 14개의 아미노산(GKPIPNPLLGLDST)을 사용하지만, 9개 아미노산(IPNPLLGLD)으로도 활용됩니다.
