Target Information
LRP6 is essential for the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway, acting as a coreceptor with Frizzled for Wnt. It serves as a specific, high-affinity receptor for DKK1 and DKK2, but not DKK3. Interaction with DKK1 inhibits LRP6-mediated Wnt/β-catenin signaling through LRP6 removal via Kremen protein-mediated endocytosis.
