Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
TRIM22 is a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family, which includes three zinc-binding domains (a RING, a B-box type 1, and a B-box type 2) and a coiled-coil region.
This protein localizes to the cytoplasm, and its expression is induced by interferon.
TRIM22 down-regulates transcription from the HIV-1 LTR promoter region, suggesting a role in mediating interferon’s antiviral effects.
