Target Information
LIPG (Lipase G, Endothelial type)은 새로운 형태의 lipoprotein lipase 유전자 패밀리에 속하는 endothelial lipase입니다. 이 단백질은 내피세포에서 합성되어 합성 부위에서 기능하며, 지질단백질 대사 조절에 생리적 역할을 하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
LIPG의 과발현은 HDL 콜레스테롤 수치를 감소시키며, 결핍 시 HDL 수치가 상승하는 것으로 관찰됩니다. 또한, LIPG는 상당한 phospholipase 활성을 가지며, 지질단백질 대사 및 혈관 생물학에 관여합니다.
TG lipase 패밀리의 구성원으로서, 특유의 lid region을 통해 기질 특이성을 부여받습니다. LIPG는 고밀도 지질단백질을 가수분해하고, 중성지방을 유화하며, 식이 지방의 소화에 필수적인 효소로 작용하며, heparin과 결합할 수 있습니다.
