For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.

Target Information

The OAS2 gene encodes a member of the 2-5A synthetase family, key proteins in the innate immune response to viral infection. These proteins are induced by interferons and use ATP in 2′-specific nucleotidyl transfer reactions to synthesize 2′,5′-oligoadenylates, which activate RNase L. This leads to viral RNA degradation and inhibition of viral replication. The gene family members are clustered on chromosome 12, with multiple alternatively spliced isoforms reported.
