Product Specific Information
This antibody detects endogenous levels of ZAP70 only when phosphorylated at Tyrosine 319.
Target Information
ZAP-70 is a cytosolic protein tyrosine kinase belonging to the Syk family. It is expressed exclusively in T-cells and natural killer cells and is essential for T-cell receptor activation. Upon TCR engagement, ZAP70 is phosphorylated at tyrosines 292, 315, and 319 within the interdomain B region between the SH2 and kinase domains. Phosphorylation at tyrosines 315 (Vav binding site) and 319 (Lck binding site) enhances ZAP70-mediated lymphocyte signaling, whereas phosphorylation at tyrosine 292 attenuates activation.
