Product Specific Information
- Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
- The antibody is shipped lyophilized at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at –20°C.
- Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C (protected from light) for up to 1 week.
- For long-term storage, aliquot and store at –20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
- Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

TRPV4 (Transient Receptor Potential Cation Channel Subfamily V Member 4)
TRPV4 is a cation-selective, Ca²⁺-permeable channel activated by osmotic and mechanical stimuli. It belongs to the OSM9-like transient receptor potential channel (OTRPC) subfamily within the TRP superfamily. TRPV4 plays a key role in osmotic pressure regulation and mechanosensitivity.
Mutations in the TRPV4 gene are associated with disorders such as spondylometaphyseal dysplasia, metatropic dysplasia, and hereditary motor and sensory neuropathy type IIC. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
