Reconstitution: 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL double distilled water (DDW), depending on the sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquots should be kept at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

TRPM2 belongs to the ion transport protein family, including sodium, potassium, and calcium ion channels.
This family features proteins with six transmembrane helices, where the last two flank a loop determining ion selectivity.
TRPM2 is activated by oxidative stress and contributes to cell death susceptibility.
It is a calcium-permeable cation channel regulated by free intracellular ADP-ribose.
Several alternatively spliced transcript variants of TRPM2 have been described, but their full-length nature remains unknown.
