Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

PLK1 (Polo-like kinase 1) is a serine/threonine kinase involved in cell mitosis and serves as a marker of cell proliferation. It plays a crucial role in carcinogenesis and centrosome function, contributing to bipolar spindle assembly.
PLK1 phosphorylates multiple substrates including BORA, BUB1B/BUBR1, CCNB1, CDC25C, CEP55, ECT2, ERCC6L, FBXO5/EMI1, FOXM1, and many others, acting through POLO box domain recognition of pre-phosphorylated motifs.
