Target Information
PRDM5 is a novel member of the PR domain protein family containing a PR-domain at the N-terminus followed by 16 zinc finger motifs. It plays a role in cell differentiation and tumorigenesis. Studies suggest PRDM5 induces G2/M arrest and apoptosis in tumor cells and is silenced in several cancers, including breast, ovarian, and lung cancers, indicating potential clinical significance.
