Product Specific Information
Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
OCT-2 is a transcription factor of the POU homeo-domain family that binds to Ig gene octamer sites to regulate B cell–specific genes.
Although OCT-2 expression is not limited to B cells, it is much higher in these cells. Expression is significantly elevated in germinal center–derived lymphomas, with other B cell lymphomas also showing high levels.
