Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- For formalin-fixed tissues: Heat tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, then cool at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
OCT-2 is a transcription factor belonging to the POU homeo-domain family that binds to immunoglobulin gene octamer sites regulating B cell–specific genes.
Although OCT-2 expression is not restricted to B cells, expression levels are significantly higher in these cells. OCT-2 expression is reported to be markedly elevated in germinal center–derived lymphomas, and other B cell lymphomas also display high levels of expression.
