Product Specific Information
- Antibody tested in direct ELISA.
- For immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
OCT-2 is a transcription factor belonging to the POU homeo-domain family that binds to Ig gene octamer sites regulating B cell–specific genes.
Although OCT-2 expression is not restricted to B cells, levels are much higher in these cells.
OCT-2 expression is significantly greater in germinal center–derived lymphomas, though other B cell lymphomas also show high expression.
