• Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
• Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Target Information

OCT-2 is a transcription factor belonging to the POU homeo-domain family that binds to Ig gene octamer sites, regulating B cell–specific genes. Although OCT-2 expression is not restricted to B cells, it is significantly higher in these cells. Expression is notably greater in germinal center–derived lymphomas, though other B cell lymphomas also show high expression levels.
