Product Specific Information
Heat-mediated antigen retrieval is recommended prior to staining, using a 10 mM citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 10 minutes followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Following antigen retrieval, incubate samples with primary antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Suggested positive controls include skin, breast, prostate, prostate carcinoma, or mesothelioma.

Cytokeratin pan belongs to the subfamily of intermediate filament proteins characterized by biochemical diversity, represented in human epithelial tissues by at least 20 different polypeptides.
Cytokeratins range in molecular weight between 40–68 kDa and isoelectric pH between 4.9–7.8.
Human cytokeratins are numbered 1–20, and their expression patterns vary depending on epithelial type and differentiation stage.
Cytokeratin subtype patterns assist in distinguishing epithelial malignancies and serve as markers in cancer research and tumor diagnosis.
They are useful in immunohistochemistry, cytopathology, and flow cytometry assays.
