Product Specific Information
Heat-mediated antigen retrieval is recommended prior to staining, using a 1 mM EDTA buffer (pH 8.0) for 10 minutes followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Following antigen retrieval, incubate samples with primary antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
A suggested positive control is rectal carcinoma.

MCM2 (Mini Chromosome Maintenance Protein 2) is involved in regulating DNA replication.
MCM2, also known as CDCL1, mitotin, and BM28, is a human nuclear protein crucial for the cell cycle, especially in the onset of DNA replication and cell division.
It belongs to the early S-phase protein family and has been mapped to chromosome 3q21.
CDCL1 has been proposed as a candidate oncogene affected by chromosomal breaks in acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
