Specificity: This immunotoxin is specific for human CD64, targeting an epitope outside the Fc binding domain. The VH/VL antibody format retains binding activity after fusion of the m22(scFv) coding regions to the truncated ETA coding sequences.
Target Information
CD64 (FCGR1A) encodes a high-affinity Fc-gamma receptor involved in immune response. It is one of three related gene family members on chromosome 1. Dysfunction of CD64 has been associated with cervical adenitis and tetrasomy 21.
