- In direct ELISAs, less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human GATA-1, GATA-2, GATA-3, GATA-4, and GATA-6 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
GATA binding factor 5 is a transcription regulator involved in embryonic development. The protein contains two GATA-type zinc fingers and binds to hepatocyte nuclear factor-1alpha (HNF-1α). This interaction is essential for cooperative activation of the intestinal lactase-phlorizin hydrolase promoter. GATA-5 may contribute to cardiac smooth muscle cell diversity.
