Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are unique offerings from Thermo Fisher Scientific. They consist of a mixture of multiple recombinant monoclonal antibodies, combining polyclonal sensitivity with monoclonal specificity and recombinant consistency.
These antibodies recognize multiple epitope sites, providing higher detection sensitivity for low-abundance targets. Each lot can be reproduced identically, eliminating biological variability found in traditional polyclonal antibody production.
Note: Formerly called “Recombinant polyclonal antibody”, now rebranded as “Recombinant Superclonal™ antibody”. Physical product and performance remain unchanged.
Target Information
Histone H3 is a DNA-binding protein found in chromatin of all eukaryotic cells. Together with other core histones, it forms nucleosomes and plays a key role in transcription regulation, DNA repair, replication, and chromosomal stability.
Post-translational modifications of histone H3, including methylation, acetylation, and phosphorylation, influence chromatin structure and gene expression. The N-terminal tail of histone H3 is particularly subject to these modifications.
