Target Information

Histone H3 is one of the core DNA-binding proteins forming nucleosomes in eukaryotic chromatin. It plays a central role in transcription regulation, DNA repair, replication, and chromosomal stability.
The N-terminal tail of histone H3 undergoes various post-translational modifications (methylation, acetylation, phosphorylation) that influence chromatin structure and gene expression.
