- In direct ELISAs, approximately 40% cross-reactivity with recombinant human Cathepsin X/Z/P is observed.
- Less than 2% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse Cathepsin B, C, D, H, and L is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a lysosomal cysteine proteinase and member of the peptidase C1 family. It exhibits both carboxy-monopeptidase and carboxy-dipeptidase activities. Also known as cathepsin X and cathepsin P, this gene is ubiquitously expressed in cancer cell lines and primary tumors and may be involved in tumorigenesis.
