Target Information
TNFAIP3 (A20)는 염색체 6q23에 위치하며, B세포 림프종에서 종종 결손되는 영역에 존재합니다.
Hodgkin 림프종 및 일부 비호지킨 림프종 아형에서 종양 억제 유전자로 확인되었습니다.
TNFAIP3는 TNF-α에 의해 빠르고 일시적으로 유도되는 zinc-finger 단백질로, NF-κB 의존적 유전자 발현을 억제하고 TNF-α 세포독성으로부터 세포를 보호합니다.
또한 airway epithelial cell에서 TLR2 및 TLR4 매개 IL-8 합성을 억제하여, 병원체에 대한 과도한 염증 반응을 방지하는 음성 조절자로 작용합니다.
TNFAIP3에는 최소 두 가지 isoform이 존재하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
