For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-induced signaling occurs through association of TNF receptor (TNFR) with adaptor proteins such as TNF receptor-associated proteins (TRAFs).
TRAFs are cytoplasmic adapter proteins that mediate signal transduction from TNF receptor superfamily members (e.g., RANK, CD30, CD40) and the interleukin-1 receptor.
The carboxy-terminal region of TRAFs is essential for self-association and receptor interaction following ligand-induced oligomerization.
Six TRAF family members (TRAF1–TRAF6) have been identified. TRAF5 (558 amino acids) is involved in NF-κB and c-Jun N-terminal kinase activation by TNF receptor superfamily members including CD27, CD30, CD40, and lymphotoxin-β receptor.
Disruption of TRAF5 gene leads to defects in CD40-CD27 mediated lymphocyte activation.
