Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
PIKFYVE is a lipid kinase that modifies intracellular phosphatidylinositol phosphorylation states. It produces phosphatidylinositol 3,5-bisphosphate (PtdIns(3,5)P2) and forms a complex with VAC14 and FIG4 to regulate PtdIns(3,5)P2 levels.
In addition to its phosphoinositide 5-kinase activity, PIKFYVE also exhibits protein kinase activity.
