Product Specific Information

This antibody is predicted to react with Monkey, Bovine, and Cat.

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening and selection of optimal clones for production.

Advantages of recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies:

  • Enhanced specificity and sensitivity
  • Lot-to-lot consistency
  • Animal origin-free formulation
  • Broader immunoreactivity due to larger rabbit immune repertoire

Target Information

The LOXL2 gene encodes a member of the lysyl oxidase family, essential for connective tissue biogenesis. It produces an extracellular copper-dependent amine oxidase that catalyzes crosslink formation in collagens and elastin.
The conserved C-terminal sequence confers amine oxidase activity, while the variable N-terminal region may contribute to roles in developmental regulation, senescence, tumor suppression, cell growth, and chemotaxis.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
