Target Information
CXCR1은 G-단백질 결합 수용체(GPCR) 계열에 속하는 단백질로, interleukin 8 (IL8)의 수용체 역할을 합니다. IL8과 높은 친화도로 결합하여 G-단백질 활성화 2차 신호전달 시스템을 통해 신호를 전달합니다. 생쥐에서의 knockout 연구 결과, 이 단백질이 척수 발달 과정에서 oligodendrocyte 전구세포의 이동을 억제함을 시사합니다.
CXCR1을 암호화하는 IL8RA 유전자, IL8RB(다른 고친화도 IL8 수용체), 및 IL8RBP(IL8RB의 유사유전자)는 염색체 2q33–q36 영역에 위치한 유전자 클러스터를 형성합니다.
