Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step.

Target Information

Cellular senescence is the terminal non-dividing state that normal cells enter after completing their proliferative potential. Fusions of immortal human cell lines have led to classification into four complementation groups.
Mortality factor 4 (MORF4) is the lead member of a transcription factor-like protein family that reverses the immortal phenotype. MORF4 localizes to the nucleus and contains motifs such as helix-loop-helix and leucine zipper, enabling formation of transcriptionally active homo- or heterodimers.
MORF4 binds transcription corepressors mSin3A and TLE, suggesting that these complexes may repress genes involved in cellular senescence.
