Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The F13A1 gene encodes the coagulation factor XIII A subunit, the final zymogen activated in the blood coagulation cascade. Plasma factor XIII consists of two A subunits (catalytic) and two B subunits (carrier). Upon activation by thrombin and calcium, the enzyme factor XIIIa catalyzes crosslinking between fibrin molecules, stabilizing the clot. Deficiency of factor XIII can lead to bleeding tendencies and impaired wound healing.
